 False and deceitful advertising Mar 13, 2010
this was one of the few times I've ordered from Amazon where I did not read the customer reviews, and it came back to bite me.
this product is trash and falsely listed as leather. Also the sizes are wrong and overall just not worth the postage to send them back (I ordered two; pictured as two different colors).
I ordered two different items, at different prices, different colors, but when they arrived together, they were identical (even though they were two dollars apart in price).
Avoid this product.

Not Leather. Typical Chinese copy of something Real. Jun 02, 2009
This belt does not really look like or act like real leather under even modest examination. It is an interesting copy of a real thick leather belt (which is what I wanted- so I am upset). I dissected this belt and it is made of something difficult to describe- some tightly-packed fabric/paper held together in front by a thin layer of looks-like-leather skin and in back by a tough papery-fabric, with some type of off-colored plasticy-resin sealing the sides. The Belt soes not bend naturally like leather and the keeper-band is held together precariously by a metal staple. I guess it will work as a belt, but I am not happy with it. I would have spent more to have the real thing- and I feel decieved.
To call this a genuine leather belt, in my opinion, is false advertising. I mean, even if there were 5% real leather in the whole thing (still not convinced), to go to the trouble of clearly saying "Genuine Leather" is extremely misleading. Shame on the seller.

NOT 100 % leather as stated Jun 02, 2009
This belt is paper thin leather bonded to a dense foam rubber belt. The width listed as 1 1/2" is actually 1 3/8". I would NOT recommend this item.

The size published is not correct when you receive your order. Order at least one size larger.

While this was a viable option for a belt be warned that the belt is only leather on one side. The fabric backing came off and inside there is the fabric equivalent of particle board. I still use the belt but it isn't high quality.
