I got this hat, and I loved it. It was really nice at first, but one day when I was horsing around in the lobster tank at my local seafood restaurant like usual, when I was dragged out of the tank and almost boiled! The cooks still boiled the hat, but I took it off to escape. The hat survived the boil like nothing happened, and I'd still wear it if I wasn't afraid. It's a great hat, just watch out where you wear it.

On a recent trip to Maine I picked up a really cute lobster hat as a gift for a friend. Later (after I had returned home) I realized that someone else other than the person that I gave the hat to really, I mean REALLY, wanted one. Thank goodness that this hat was available from Amazon (it really didn't matter to them where I bought it, as long as they got one). This passed as a nice lobster hat but it could have easily been presented as a crab hat or even a crayfish hat. It is not really high-quality but then again, who is going to wear this more than once or twice? A fun, fun item!

great fun - probably won't last too long but then again, why would anyone wear it for too long? My granddaughter gets a real kick out of it so that makes it a 10!
