Used these hats for a fire safety presentation. Children were 4-5 years old. Hats were a good size for that age group. They were not a hard plastic and no sharp edges. Worked well for what we were trying to accomplish with the children. They loved them.

We got these hats because they looked just like the individual ones that were the same price. They were absolutely perfect for our toddler's birthday party. They are a thin plastic and not meant to last long, but actually fit those little two year old heads perfectly! We used them to fill with the party favors, and bought them with a set of fire chief badges also on Amazon. The kids wore their hats and badges on a tour of the local fire station and they were so cute.
My little one smashed his hat several times for fun, and we were able to un-smash it a lot and put it back on. Still, they aren't mean to last or to go in a toy box. We were super happy with our purchase, and for this price, it makes more sense than goodie bags.

These hats are thinner plastic than most plastic toy fire helmets and crunched so easily my 2-year old went through all 12 within a few weeks. They are inferior quality than the ones we get at the Dollar Store. Overall, not worth the money.
